CanSkate

CanSkate is Skate Canada’s learn-to-skate program for beginners. Skaters 4 years old to adults are taught in a small group by a Skate Canada NCCP Certified Professional Coach.

The Ice Palace Figure Skating Club’s CanSkate program focuses on fun, participation and basic skill development. Skaters will earn badges and other incentives as they learn fundamental skating skills in a progressive and sequential manner.

This is where it all begins! CanSkate prepares skaters for figure skating, hockey, ringette and recreational skating. It teaches beginners how to skate, then guides them in the right direction of the many opportunities in the Skate Canada System.
