PowerSkate

This is a learn-to-play-hockey program! Skaters 5 years old (Pre-Novice hockey) and up are taught in a small group by a Skate Canada NCCP Certified Professional Coach. Skaters enrolled in this program must already possess basic forward and backward skating skills.

The Ice Palace Figure Skating Club’s PowerSkate program is an action-packed, high energy program that focuses on skills that are especially important for hockey and ringette players. Skaters develop balance, power, agility, speed and endurance through acquisition of efficient technique of stroke, stride and acceleration.
